Living wall installations
A planted wall can bring softness, depth, and a closer connection to nature. We consider moss, live plants, and green screens in relation to the room or courtyard: what they frame, how they meet the light, and the atmosphere they create.
Moss, when you want stillness
Preserved moss walls need no irrigation and almost no light. They are a mineral green: sheet moss, bun moss, a quiet relief. Good for interiors where a mid-century plaster plane wants depth without moisture.
Live plants, when you want weather indoors
Irrigated living walls use species that tolerate indoor air and Colorado’s bright, dry light — ferns in shade, succulents at glass, herbs in a kitchen court. Winter strategy is designed, not hoped for.
Never against original fabric
A living wall gets its own cavity, waterproofing, and drip collection. It does not lean on historic millwork or unpainted brick without a designed break.
